What To Expect
We have a new and innovative way of Empowering Communities through athletics and recreational activities.
Our differentiator: We have teaching moments and coaching moments, we mentor, guide and inspire! Most importantly, we are committed to the Military and Community families we serve!
TEACHING MOMENTS: Teaching moments allow the coaches to stop the game so that he/she can review any skills and emphasize proper techniques.
COACHING MOMENTS: Coaching Moments are traditional situations that require coaches to talk about game strategy and execution.
This concept is very effective yet simple to execute. The rules allow for all kids to feel as if they are part of the game.
What We Look For In A Coach

Engaging
Great coaches stay updated on sports science, new drills, or tech like wearable fitness trackers. Attending clinics, reading studies (e.g., Journal of Sports Sciences), or analyzing pro games keeps you sharp. You also learn from athletes, adapting to their feedback and evolving styles.
Teach
Teach and refine techniques specific to the sport, such as shooting form in basketball or stroke mechanics in swimming. Breaking down complex skills into manageable steps is key. For instance, in tennis, you might focus on grip and footwork before progressing to spin serves. You provide feedback, often using video analysis, to correct form and boost performance.
Creative
Creativity in sports coaching refers to a coach’s ability to develop innovative strategies, training methods, and motivational techniques to maximize athlete performance and adapt to challenges. It involves thinking outside conventional approaches to inspire players, outsmart opponents, and evolve the game. When combined with the concept of creativity in sports, coaching creativity amplifies an athlete’s ability to express their own ingenuity.
Thank you for your interest! Before we move forward here's some important information to consider.
Background checks: Everything we do requires the coach/volunteer to be background checked. Depending on what area you are supporting, background check process will vary.
Military Camps: those supporting military camps will need to be cleared by the service we are supporting (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines) Each service is different. If you support multiple services, you will need multiple background checks.
Community Programs: These camps are local. We work with municipalities and Parks and Recs. For these camps, you are subject to Federal Fingerprinting, State and Local Checks
Administrative staff: At a minimum, all staff will require a background check through the prefered service.
Driver's License. All staff are required to have a RealID, driver's license. DL must be current and void of any restrictions.
